If you are deaf you may sometimes feel left out but this shouldn’t happen, you can get lots of practical help. Leeds has a large community centre that offers advice about special equipment such as flashing light doorbells, support and facilities for people who are both deaf and blind, and support for deaf people with learning disabilities. There is also a wide variety of sports and social activities provided by the Leeds Deaf Social Club.
